Harlem World Magazine loves events with people who feel its better than to receive, that’s why we love this event with Celebrity Chef David Burke who will prepare a traditional Thanksgiving meal on Monday, Nov. 23, at 12 noon, for roughly 200 homeless men on Randalls Island.
And to make the even extra special, his “line chefs” and “sous chefs” will be homeless men who are enrolled in the Culinary Arts Training Program run by HELP USA – a leading nonprofit which houses the homeless – at the Supportive Employment Center on the island.
