Join LaborArts and the Remember the Triangle Fire Coalition as we honor five extraordinary women who have been working for the larger good all their lives.
In the tradition of those who sparked so many reforms in the aftermath of the 1911 Triangle Shirtwaist Factory Fire. Honoring Unsung Heroines will recieve the The Clara Lemlich (pictured) Award, the 2016 honorees are
- Teresa Chan, community organizer in Chinatown
- Etta Dixon, dance and wellness
- Bea Kleir, scientist
- Naomi Raplanski and Eva Kollisch, poetry and literature.
