Harlem’s Sheck Wes And Nike NYC Editions Debut At Social Studies New York

Baque Creative is pleased to announce that the Nike NYC Editions Curated by Harlem man Sheck Wes – Air Max 95 and Blazer Mid sneakers are available to purchase at Social Studies.

Social Studies is an education and retail pop-up experience, throughout the duration of it’s New York debut this weekend, November 16-18, 2018, at Milk Studios.

Nike is also on site to celebrate the inaugural NYC Editions collection curated by Sheck Wes at Social Studies NYC all weekend with an installation of an interactive photo booth experience where you can transport yourself into Sheck’s campaign imagery in New York and LA from the Social Studies pop-up.

Social Studies is a three-day education and retail pop-up experience aimed at utilizing streetwear as a platform for philanthropy. Following the success of Social Studies Miami Art Basel 2017, the experiential event will opens today, Friday, November 16, 2018, at 11:00 AM at Milk and will remain open until 7:00 PM daily through Sunday, November 18, 2018. While the Office Hours and retail space will be open to the public please kindly note that tickets are required for participation within any of the workshop programs. Workshops will be led by Angelo Baque of Awake NY, Photographer Shaniqwa Jarvis, Sheck Wes, Melody Ehsani, Tremaine Emory of No Vacancy Inn, Sonya Sombreuil of Come Tees, Jess and Brian Procell of Procell, Brendan Fowler of Some Ware and ELECTION REFORM!, and Carlton Yaito. Bringing the event’s scholastic theme to life, these workshops will be aimed at a youth demographic, offering them skills guidance and the opportunity to create and develop their own bespoke creative edition.
