April 1, 2023

Saturday, May 6th, 2023, New York’s Sweetheart, Media Personality, Shaila hosts her “Mother’s Day Spa Party ” to benefit survivors of domestic violence.

The Spa Party invites attendees to have a session with The View’s Emmy Award Winning MakeUp Artist, Karen Dupiche and a complete makeover including massages and manicures plus their very own photo shoot to capture the moment.  On hiatus since the pandemic, the Sisterly Kiss team is excited to bring such a beautiful and inspiring event back!

The evening held at Newark’s historic Robert Treat Hotel’s Crystal Ballroom located at 50 Park Place, Newark, N.J. includes a buffet catered by Two Fish and Five Loaves, a Vendor Pop-Up For The Culture and music by “The People Plezzer”, D.J. Mitch.

Tickets are $60 per person. Space is limited.  Tickets are available at SisterlyKiss.com or by calling (917) 202-2012.  Donations to The Sisterly Kiss Foundation can be made at Sisterlykiss.com and all donations are tax-deductible.

Always seeking ways to connect and give back to her community, during the pandemic, Shaila has created  “The Sisterly Kiss Marketplace” and “Ask Our Men”.  “The Sisterly Kiss Marketplace” is a free platform for Black businesses to promote their product and services.  “Ask Our Men” is a “Mister” Class, an engaging conversation with black men about women, love, and relationships. The monthly series featured the Prince of Sophisticated Soul, Will Downing, 107.5 WBLS “LOVE MAN”, Quiet Storm host, Lenny Green, R&B’s Raheem DeVaughn and actors, Keith Robinson and Shannon Wallace.

Harlem-bred, Shaila has been a New York radio staple whose successful career spans 30 years. She has lent her voice to companies such as McDonald’s, Infiniti, Pandora, OWN, BET,  and the WNBA and also has been a brand ambassador for Pantene, Toyota, and the NY Department of Health to name a few.  Her “Sisterly Kiss” on-air feature is not only a progressive thought that she shares, but it is now an entertainment organization that raises funds for several causes.

Shaila founded “Sisterly Kiss Entertainment” in 2007 serving to empower, educate and entertain women in need.  Under the foundation, she created “Kiss for the Cure”, an event that raises money for Breast Cancer Research, and an annual ‘Mother’s Day Spa Party” benefitting domestic violence survivors.
