Click on Detroit reports that Harlem man Rob Base, of the hip-hop duo with DJ E-Z Rock, came and hung out at this year’s Hob Nobble Gobble 2017 in Detroit.
In the 1980’s Base and Rock lead the way for hip-hop to transition into the mainstream.
Rob Base fan, local anchor and investigative reporter Karen Drew showed that she had some skills by rapping along to the hip-hop hit “It Takes Two.” The song was a Top 40 hit and went platinum.
Fans cheered as they waited for the hip-hop legend to hit the stage.
