Harlem World Magazine Appoints CC Minton As President, At The Head Of The Business Helm

Harlem World Magazine (HWM) announced the appointment of former Stevenson and Moses Boxing for Life Corp. Executive CC Minton as President of the company, effective immediately.

Minton will have wide-ranging responsibilities leading all aspects of the business side of the company as a guide in its strategic vision and overseeing its implementation. 

Communicating with shareholders about their expectations, setting and tracking goals for key operations, and lobbying for funding for investors. 

Establishing and carrying out organizational and departmental procedures, goals, and policies.  Directing and overseeing the department’s budgetary and financial activities while working closely with the Publisher and Founder Danny Tisdale and the HWM Advisory Board. Her role will be critical in expanding our national and global reach.

At Stevenson and Moses Boxing for Life Corp, Minton led the organization through its inaugural and biggest growth period in the organization’s history.  The immediate past president worked with World Leader in Boxing, Top Rank, in implementing a Shakur Stevenson fan-based ticketing system and Essex County Executive Joseph D. DiVincenzo in honor of Shakur Stevenson Key to Essex County Day. Created, planned, developed, and co-hosted Ringside for a Cause.  In addition, she was instrumental establishing the organization’s online presence and effective communication with its supporters and promoting the outreach of high-profile sports talent to the community.  

A nationally recognized award-winning lifestyle advocate in leadership by the US President’s Council on Fitness, Sports, and Nutrition, Minton has held a number of roles in the social impact industry.  With her business acumen and leadership, Minton added an entrepreneurial focus to her work tackling big business as a New York/New Jersey Super Bowl XLVIII partner.  She has also held roles with the Junior League as Vice President of Communication, Sustainer-at-Large on the Board of Governance, and Founder of I Love Beautiful Spaces.  Her commitment and dedication to the community, have earned her the Junior League’s Sustainer of the Year award and Save Our Nations Dream Maker Award.

CC is currently an active board member of Friends of Thomas Edison National Historical Park and the Home of Glenmont. She believes in teamwork and the importance of bringing diverse perspectives to the table, because “when we all buy to the idea, the organization wins, and we do too!”
