Harlem Whole Foods Is Hiring, Will Open This Summer

April 26, 2017

Whether you love it or hate it, Whole Foods is setting up shop in Harlem this summer. The popular, but pricey, supermarket chain announced this week that it’s seeking staff for all positions at its new location on West 125th Street and Lenox Avenue.

Jobs in the bakery, customer service, grocery, meat, prepared foods, produce/floral, seafood, specialty and body departments at the new Whole Foods are accepting applications, according to the job listing. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and able to work shifts any day of the week.

Whole Foods is accepting applications through mid-May. Applicants may also be considered for nearby stores, according to the listing. The stores closest to the new location are located on the Upper West Side (Columbus Avenue near West 97th Street) and the Upper East Side (Third Avenue near East 87th Street).

“Whole Foods Market attracts people who are passionate – about great food, about the communities they live in, about how we treat our planet and our fellow humans – and who want to bring their passion into the workplace and make a difference,” the job listing reads.
