In partnership with ‘With You Jewelry’, a small business committed to women empowerment.
State Senator Brian A. Benjamin awards We All Really Matter (WARM) with the New York State Senate Empire Award. This award is given to exceptional organizations that serve the community.
Founder Stephanie McGraw and her volunteers, who are survivors of domestic abuse, are committed to ending violence against women and girls in the Harlem community.
Senator Benjamin partnered with a small business, With You Jewelry, which donated customized lockets to gift to the women of the organization who have overcome their own battles with domestic violence and now volunteer with WARM’s anti-domestic violence group in hopes of improving the outcome of others experiencing this hardship.
“With the dedication to secure the safety of women and children who experience violent living environments and interrupting the cycle of domestic violence in families, this organization continues this vital work through the pandemic while additionally providing food and PPE to our community. It is fitting that I recognize W.A.R.M. for their service to this cause along with the volunteers who keep this organization going”, says Senator Benjamin.
