The cold blooded murder of a New York City Police Officer tasked with protecting residents in the vicinity of the East River Houses in the very district I represent is a vicious act of violence that goes against the very fabric of our City. Tonight, all New Yorkers are united in sorrow as we mourn the loss of one of NYPD’s finest. Our deepest sympathies and prayers are with Officer Holder’s loved ones and the entire NYPD family during this tragic time.”
