Harlem Rep. Espaillat’s Statement Following Today’s Indictment Of Russian Operatives

February 16, 2018

Today, Rep. Adriano Espaillat, released the following statement on indictments issued by Special Counsel Robert Mueller against 13 Russian nationals and three Russian groups accused of interfering with the 2016 U.S. elections:

“The American people deserve to know the extent to which a foreign government with a history of hostility has committed criminal acts to undermine the cornerstone of who we are as a nation and our democracy,” said Rep. Adriano Espaillat, member of the U.S. House Foreign Affairs Committee. “I encourage Special Counsel Robert Mueller to continue his investigation following today’s indictments to get to the bottom of who within the Trump Administration knew what and when about Russia’s interference with the 2016 U.S. elections.”
