NYC Council Member Mark Levine and Council Member Carlos Menchaca will be joined by U.S. Congress Members Yvette D. Clarke and Adriano Espaillat at a press conference on Thursday, August 24, 2017, call on the federal government to require Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Agents to wear body cameras.
ICE during field operations and removal proceedings, in order to increase ICE and Customs and Border Protection (CBP) accountability, and ensure that immigration enforcement activities are conducted in a safe and lawful manner.
