Sean Combs is retiring. Well, sort of. The hip-hop mogul, known as Puff Daddy, P Diddy, and Diddy during his lengthy career, has revealed that he is stepping way from the music business for good. On Friday, April 30, People posted Sean Combs’ comments to Cigar Aficionado magazine, in which he revealed that he is permanently retiring from music after the release of one final album and a subsequent world tour.
“I’m going to put out my last album and devote 100 percent of my time to doing films,” Combs said of retiring from music-making. “I want to stop at a great place. And a final album is a great place to stop. I want to take a victory lap, to do a world tour and really enjoy it once last time.”
