TV One announced today that Emmy-nominated talk show queen Wendy Williams will continue to reign as host of the R&B Divas LA reunion special on Wednesday, April 22nd and Wednesday, April 29th at 10PM/ET. Filmed in NYC, the two-part special will bring together the entire cast including Lil’ Mo, Chanté Moore, Michel’le, Chrisette Michele, Leela James, Brave and Stacy Francis to look back at the most explosive season yet. Viewers will find out what made Chrisette decide to break ties with the ladies once and for all, hear as Stacy’s true motives for joining the cast are fiercely contested and Chanté gets her chance to sound off on why so much drama surrounds her each episode. The ladies hold nothing back as they openly deal with individual and collective issues and finally gain closure on this tumultuous season.
“It is always a blast hosting the reunion show with the ladies and getting them to spill the tea. Viewers are going to be shocked by the shade the divas are throwing this year, you won’t want to miss it,” said Wendy Williams.
This week’s season three finale, airing Wednesday, April 15th at 10PM/ET, finds the ladies performing their cancer benefit concert at the House of Blues Los Angeles. As drama still brews with Chante the girls have to decide if she is a part of the group song. Before sound check, Michel’le’s suspicious behavior draws ire and concern from the divas. By the end of the night, the girls gather for dinner and vote on whether or not to keep Chanté on as an R&B Diva.
