“I am appalled, I am angry and I am going to fight like hell on behalf of my transgender brothers and sisters,” said Harlem City Council speaker Melissa Mark-Viverito.
The statement was made at a “Resist” rally regarding the Transgender Military Ban in Times Square, New York City #TransRightsAreHumanRights put into effect by president Donald Trump.
