Uptown representative Ydanis Rodriguez (left) responds to MTA Chairman Joe Lhota:

“… As Chair of the Committee on Transportation, I will continue advocating to improve transportation throughout the five boroughs serving over 8.5 million New Yorkers that commute by train, bus and ferry everyday. I will work with Speaker Johnson and my Council colleagues to ensure that the MTA puts a plan together to control the costs of capital projects, repair our subway system and modernize all services offered.”

Ydanis Rodriguez is the cities Chairman of the Transportation Committee.
