Harlem-Based National Dance Institute (NDI) Annual Gala, Voices Of Change

February 16, 2019

Harlem-based National Dance Institute, NDI’s Gala, founded by Dance legend Jacques d’Amboise is a highlight of the Spring social calendar at Ziegfeld Ballroom, 141 W 54th Street in New York City,

The event raises $1.5 million in support of National Dance Institute award-winning arts education programs for thousands of children in New York City public schools each year.

This eagerly-anticipated event will begin with a festive cocktail reception for its nearly 500 guests, followed by an elegant sit-down dinner punctuated by a spirited live auction, an honors presentation, and special performances by the children of National Dance Institute that will send guests’ spirits and hearts soaring!

This year’s Gala, Voices of Change, mirrors the annual theme National Dance Institute is exploring in public schools from Harlem to Hollis. Our children are learning about individuals throughout history who have used their talents and voices to effect positive change in society.

We honor them and celebrate those who are making the world a better place.
