GrowNYC announces Compost On-the-Go at 18 new food scrap collections, conveniently located near mass transit in Northern Manhattan and and the Bronx in partnership with the NYC Department of Sanitation. Once a week, their friendly compost coordinators will accept your household fruit and vegetable scraps to be composted as you head out to start your day—look for their orange tent!
