We are pleased to announce that applications are open for 12 scholarships to the Little Lions Camp at Columbia University. The annual allotment of 25 weeks of scholarships is part of the commitments by Columbia University under the Community Benefits Agreement. WHDC administers the Little Lions Camp lottery.
The staff of WHDC conducts a wide-range of outreach activities to reach prospective applicants. Applicants qualify by being residents of West Harlem Community District 9. A lottery will be held in the office of Community Board 9 and will be witnessed by a member of the Community Board staff. All winning families will be notified on March 20 and then will need to complete required documentation.
