Get The “Taste Of East Harlem”

Union Settlement’s Business Development Center’s “Buy Local Initiative” is excited to present the first TASTE OF EAST HARLEM, a food and beverage event showcasing the diversity of East Harlem’s culinary offerings. TASTE OF EAST HARLEM will be held on Friday, July 20, 2018 in Union Settlement’s “El Sitio Feliz” Community Garden, located at 237 East 104th Street (between 2nd and 3rd Avenue), from 6:00 – 9:00pm. Tickets allow for admission to the event for the entirety of the three hours. Ticket prices are: $30 (no alcohol) and $40 (includes alcohol), and can be purchased online at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/a-taste-of-east-harlem-tickets-47561317180. Tickets will cost an additional $5 when purchased at the door.

Among the featured East Harlem restaurants/caterers will be: Aromas Boutique Bakery, Sprinkle Splash, Sister’s Cuisine, Bitter Orange Café, Cassava House, East Harlem Bottling Company, Harlem Industrial Kitchen, Elma’s in Harlem, Cake Burger and more! Over a dozen local merchants will be participating. Your dining experience will be enhanced by the music of Ochun Afro-Latin Band.

East Harlem is a community full of multicultural flavor in food, culture, and art. We invite you to join us in experiencing all of it as we celebrate the summer season! Bring your family and friends to savor the cuisine, and meet the chefs and culinary entrepreneurs who make “El Barrio” so special.
