
NMIC’s YAIP program is funded by the NYC Department of Youth and Community Development.
Our goal is to provide disconnected young adults aged 17-24 with intensive job readiness training and 14 week paid internships in their fields of interest.
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Be aged 17-24.
- Be unemployed.
- Not be enrolled in school or be attending a GED/HSE or employment assistance program.
- Not have an associate’s or bachelor’s degree (applicants with or without a high school diploma or GED/HSE credential are eligible).
