Free Korean Street Festival 2015 In Harlem

dem prep performanceJoin Harlem-based Democracy Prep Public Schools this Saturday, May 16th from 12-4PM for their second annual FREE Korean Street Festival in Harlem.

The festival is a celebration of their unique Korean Language & Culture Program.

Here are some of the planned activities at the event:.

Student performances

  • K-Pop Dance troupe, Taekwondo, Arirang Choir, Mask Dance troupe, Danso, Samulnori, traditional Korean dance

Korean Cultural Activities

  • Calligraphy, traditional Korean games, face painting, Korean language lessons, lantern making, hanbok dress up

Korean Food

  • Bibimbag, kimchi, scallion pancakes, rice cakes, japchae
