FDNY Brings High-Rise Fire In Harlem Under Control

high harlem firePX11 reports that the FDNY during the afternoon battled a fire at a residential building at 1980 Park Avenue in Harlem West on Friday, April 1st, 2016.

The fire originated on the 8th floor of the 14-story building.

A woman injured herself while going down the stairs, but is expected to recover.Just before 3 p.m., FDNY brought the fire under control.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
