F.Y. Eye x REACH Add 23 Million Free Impressions For Nonprofits From Harlem To Hollis

March 1, 2022

F.Y. Eye, a nonprofit media agency dedicated to promoting the work of other nonprofits through free and low-cost advertising initiatives from Harlem to Hollis, has partnered with REACH Media Network.

The partnership with REACH Media Network is in order to nationally expand its long-running NYC free out-of-home advertising network.

The partnership will allow nonprofits from across the country to reach 23 million people with free advertising on screens located on college campuses, community centers and recreational centers to name only a few.

“In the age of misinformation and disinformation, it has never been more important to get trusted voices into the public square,” said Jessica Toledano, Executive Director of F.Y. Eye. “Our mission is to make all channels of advertising more accessible to the nonprofit sector. Nonprofits are the backbone of our society and getting their messages to the people who need them is critical.”

For more than 15 years, F.Y. Eye’s PSA Network of digital screens has allowed NYC-based community organizations a free platform to share information and vital services across over 60 screens in all five boroughs.

The network has provided access to digital advertising screens for nonprofits in heavily-trafficked public spaces within community-based organizations.

These screens, set up across a variety of lobby spaces, waiting rooms, multipurpose rooms, cafeterias, as well as outdoor areas, allow any nonprofit to advertise their services and programs to the specific populations who need them most.

This new partnership with REACH will ensure that the same truthful and trusted information makes its way to an even broader audience, garnering over 7 million impressions a month on 216 new screens across 36 different U.S. states.

“We are so thankful and excited about this new expansion,” said Calder Zwicky, F.Y. Eye’s Programs + Creative Director who heads the PSA Network. “These PSAs touch upon a variety of vital services including vaccination awareness, food insecurity, immigrant services, voting rights, women’s health information, and more.”

The new expansion will drastically expand the reach of PSAs across the country, bringing these valuable services beyond a local NYC audience and into contact with new communities from across the country. As Kiersten Gibson EVP of Sales and Marketing at REACH states of the new initiative, “REACH values our partnership with F.Y. Eye and wanted to offer this opportunity because of their level of commitment and the impact they deliver to hundreds of nonprofit and community-based organizations. We believe in sharing PSAs like these with our REACH audiences, and together we can connect and influence people from across the nation.”

Recent national PSAs have touched upon free educational opportunities, federal fund allocation, COVID-19 vaccinations, and an environmental advocacy campaign in collaboration with the arts organization Amplifier and nationally-renowned artist Shepherd Fairey.

F.Y. Eye is a 501(c)(3) that has been democratizing advertising and catalyzing community development since 2005. The mission is to build public awareness about New York’s important social, civic, and educational programs by delivering high-quality, low-cost advertising services throughout NYC. www.fyeye.org
