El Museo del Barrio Hosts The 47th Annual Three Kings Day Parade And Celebration

El Museo del Barrio is delighted to present the 47th Annual Three Kings Day Parade and Celebration!

This year’s theme, entitled ‘Tradiciones: Keeping Our Stories Alive,” is a celebration of our narratives through the time-honored tradition of storytelling in the arts. They invite you to give space to those who share stories and uphold traditions in our communities. 

Held in El Barrio (East Harlem), New York, the time-honored Parade will take place on Friday, January 5th, 2024.

The parade will begin at 11am at 106th Street and Park Avenue in the East Harlem and end at 12pm on 115th Street and Park Avenue, featuring camels, floats, live music, and thousands of participants.

Soon after, we invite parade-goers to come back to El Museo del Barrio for a live musical performance in El Teatro from 1:30-3pm. It will feature live music by Annette Aguilar & Stringbeans; BombaYo!; Fogo Azul Bateria Femenina, and Aurora & Zon del Barrio.

Immediately after the Parade from 1:30 to 3:00 pm, El Museo del Barrio will host a special celebration hosted by Rhina Valentin, featuring a musical performance by Los Pleneros de la 21 (LP21), free gallery admission and more.

El Museo del Barrio’s 47th Annual Three Kings Day Parade and Celebration is proudly

supported by the New York Yankees, Ponce Bank, and the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs (DCLA).

Friday, January 5, 2023, Free Admission at 11 am – 12 pm, El Barrio (In-Person), 1:30 – 3 pm and Live Music at El Museo.
