NY Curbed reports that a new fully-affordable East Harlem building has launched the affordable housing lottery on its rentals. The 12-story building, which is located at 401-411 East 120th Street, has a total of 124 apartments up for grabs that range in size from studios through three-bedroom homes.

Rents on these affordable apartments start from $822/month and go up to $1,706/month. The apartments are open to those make 60 percent of the area median income and 100 percent of AMI, which translates to annual incomes ranging from $30,069 to $95,400, depending on the family type and apartment size.

Amenities in the building, which is titled Acacia Gardens, include a children’s play area, a laundry room, a recreational outdoor deck, and a fitness center. The project was developed through the city’s Extremely Low and Low-Income Affordability (ELLA) program, according to StreetEasy, and the building itself was designed by Magnusson Architecture and Planning.

Prospective tenants have until May 29, 2018, to apply, and residents of Manhattan Community Board 11 will get a preference on choosing from half of the apartments in the building.
