The Safe Sleep event at Northside Center in Harlem was attended by Joe Shamie, President of Delta Children, a mother who received a free crib from Delta Children and Dr. Thelma Dye Executive Director, CEO of Northside Center.
The “Safe Sleep/Young Moms” event helped prepare expecting and young moms to take care of their baby, discussing everything from safe crib practices to preparing baby’s bottles and more. All attending mothers took took home a free playpen from Delta Children.
