Broadway And 125th Street, Harlem, 1905

This is the Manhattan Street station on Broadway “Where the Subway is an Elevated,” between 125th and 126th Streets (on the downtown side). The photo of the “infrastructure” was taken looking south on Broadway in 1905 during the construction of the boulevard. Center right is a trolley car #3056 taking riders downtown, and the right of that is a dark vertical shape of a young boy looking at the photographer.
