Blink Fitness Boosts Affordable Fitness Access For Every Body From Harlem To Hollis

December 13, 2018

With a number of locations in Harlem on 116th and 125th Streets, Blink Fitness, the premium quality, affordable fitness brand is providing new and current members of all ages access to free and discounted gym memberships.

The memberships are based on two dynamic health programs, the Silver&Fit® Exercise, and the Active&Fit® Program.

These partnerships come as the International Health, Racquet, & Sportsclub Association (IHRSA) reports only 19.3% of Americans are members of a health club, which means that a staggering 4 in 5 Americans do not belong to a gym or otherwise. As Blink looks to address the need for accessible fitness opportunities across the country, the gym is thrilled to join Silver&Fit® and Active&Fit® networks, offering discounted or free memberships to all corporate-owned Blink Fitness locations from Harlem to Hollywood.

The programs include, “The Silver&Fit® program one of the nation’s leading exercise and healthy aging programs offering no-cost and low-cost fitness center access for Medicare members. Seniors can take advantage of these timely benefits by checking their Medicare plans to see if their health programs offer Silver&Fit®. The other program is the Active&Fit® program, offered as a fitness benefit through employers and health plans, provides subsidized fitness club memberships. Employees everywhere can check their employer benefits and health plans to see if they are eligible for subsidized Blink gym memberships,” said a Blink Fitness press release.
