BET’s Official Nominees For The 2017 BET Awards

We can’t believe there are no Harlem nominees, but BET Networks has officially announced the nominees for this year’s 2017 BET Awards, which will take place at Microsoft Theater on Sunday, June 25, 2017.

Over 17 years have there been unexpected performances, dazzling moments and entertainment’s best artists on stage during the awards. Beyoncé leads the way with seven nominees that includes ‘Best Female R&B/Pop Artist,’ ‘Best Collaboration’ with Kendrick Lamar for “Freedom,” ‘Video of the Year,’ and ‘Album of the Year’ for Lemonade. Second is Bruno Mars with five nominees and tied for third is Solange, Chance The Rapper and Migos each with four.

These nominations are selected by BET’s Voting Academy, which is made up of fans and entertainment professionals from television, film, music, sports journalism, public relations, etc.
