Artist Ron Draper And Others Creates Inspired-Mural East Harlem School Renovation

On November 3, 2018, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., over 100 volunteers will help to transform East Harlem, N.Y. PS/MS 171 Patrick Henry Preparatory School located on 19 East 103rd Street New York, New York. As part of this renovation, Wells Fargo volunteers will also construct a large outdoor ‘East Harlem’ community mural commissioned by artist Ron Draper.

For the second year in a row, City Year New York partners with Wells Fargo where volunteers will brighten the community school by painting hallways with inspirational murals; building student benches and picnic tables to instill school pride in spaces where students learn and play.

Last year, the organizations brought together 150 volunteers to revamp PS 007 School also located in the East Harlem.
