We’d like to think that Harlem man A$AP Rocky’s girlfriend, model Chanel Iman, has an influence on his style. Afterall, he did appear in a DKNY campaign last year.
But there is a certain dapper to him that has granted him plenty of magazine covers and styleworthy lyrics before he walked the red carpet with Ms. Iman. Whereever his style influences may come from, Teen Vogue sees it as they are featuring him in their February issue.
Posing it up with model Kyra Green, the “Fashion Killa” rapper models sweatshirts, varsity jackets, bow ties, skinny jeans and his signature braids and gold grills. On his personal style A$AP explains:
“I would have to say my personal style is a mixture of high end and street wear. Fashion, I kind of just go off of feeling. Everyday I get dressed based upon mood. How I’m feeling if I want to be cozy I might wear a lot of cashmere and sweats and stuff like that. If I want to stand out I might wear something like a biker jacket or fly jewelry.”
