NY Daily News reports that a van struck and critically injured a 12-year-old boy on a Harlem street Monday afternoon, police said.
The boy, whose name has not been released, was crossing East 115th Street, mid-block near Fifth Avenue, just after 4:50 p.m. when the van hit him.
The driver, a 53-year-old man, remained on the scene.
Medics rushed the boy to Harlem Hospital in critical condition.
