One Hundred Black Men Awarded $75000 Walmart Foundation GrantOne Hundred Black Men, Inc. of New York will kick-off its 4th annual citywide Hunger Relief Initiative in partnership with 15 churches by donating funds and distributing meals at locations throughout the city, 9 of which will conduct food packing and distribution at staggered times all day on Saturday. 

The Hunger Relief Initiative will launch on Saturday, November 21, from 9:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Salem United Methodist Church, 2190 Adam Clayton Powell, Jr. Boulevard (7thAvenue) at West 129th Street, Manhattan.

One Hundred Black Men, Inc. of New York president Michael Garner will tour the citywide distribution sites, starting with Salem United Methodist Church in Manhattan, from 9:30 a.m. to 7:15 p.m. and ending at Mt. Sinai United Christian Church in Staten Island.  Additional media sites throughout the city are listed below.

Meal distributions of 2,500 boxes of food, each with enough groceries to feed a family of four, will take place at locations in each borough for a total of 10,000 meals provided free-of-charge to recipients.

One Hundred Black Men, Inc. of New York is a 52-year-old community and youth-serving 501(c) 3 that provides scholarships, educational support, economic empowerment, mentoring, and health and wellness initiatives and serves as an overall voice of the African American community.
