Election Day Is Today! Here’s What You Need to Know So You Can Go Vote:

Election Day is today, and the polls are open until 9 pm EST.

Harlem World Magazine urges you to vote! Every single vote makes a difference—make sure your vote is counted for a better Harlem!

The General Election decides who will hold office, and by voting today, you can express who you want to represent you and your community in Harlem.

You Have the Right To Vote In Your Language!

Note that you may bring an interpreter to the voting booth. It can be a friend, family member or poll worker. It can’t be your employer or union representative. 

Additionally, The NYC Civic Engagement Commission (CEC) provides language interpretation services in Arabic, Bengali, Chinese (Cantonese, Mandarin), French, Haitian Creole, Italian, Korean, Polish, Russian, Urdu, and Yiddish at select poll sites.

The CEC is providing interpretation services on Election Day.
