Harlem’s Cam’ron Spinning Harlem World Chain Now Belongs To Atlanta’s Lil Yachty

April 20, 2018

XXL Magazine reports that Lil Yachty has the world around his neck thanks to a new icy chain but if the jewelry looks familiar it’s because Cam’ron once owned it.

According to an April 19, 2018, report from TMZ, Lil Boat copped the chain from Rafaello & Co. Jewelers in New York after giving it an update. Cam’ron originally owned the chain in the early 2000s, which at the time read “Killa Cam Harlem World,” but traded the piece in for more jewelry.

The spinning world chain was then next in line to be melted down before Yachty stepped in and bought it. The rapper swapped out “Killa Cam Harlem World” and replaced it with “Yachty’s World.” With a battery operated spinning globe and about 150 carats of diamonds, the chain is worth $250,000.

In related Lil Yachty news, following the release of his Lil Boat 2 mixtape in March, the rapper has been has been staying busy by collaborating with other artists. Last month, Yachty linked up with Loveless on “No Regrets” and also teamed with Yung Bans for the song “Different Colors.” This month, the rapper has worked with Trippie Redd on the “Who Run It (Remix)” and Nessly on “Doublecheck.”

As for Cam’ron, the Harlem rapper was recently featured on Jim Jones’ Wasted Talent album. Killa also helped Capo with the project’s promotion, appearing in the New Jack City-inspired trailer.
