“James Baldwin, Master Series,” Drawing, 2005

This amazing drawing of Harlem’s James Baldwin, Masters Series, one-of-a-kind by visual artist and founder of Harlem World Magazine, Danny Tisdale. This piece is from a larger series The Masters inspired by the Harlem Renaissance with other masters from the Renaissance including Jacob Lawrence, Pearl Bailey, Adam Clayton Powell Jr., etc.,. The drawing was created using graphite pencils on hand-made paper in Italy. The drawing is signed by the artist, 11 and 11 inches.

This amazing Harlem Girl necklace is a one-of-a-kind hand crafted using focal lampworked glass beads, pearls, bamboo coral, crystals, antique gold metal disks, and gold beads, created with the Harlem Renaissance in mind by jewelry designer Montanette Jones,. She selected coral stones based on our demographic, so she selected stones that would bring diplomacy at work, positive emotions during work day and to have clear visualization of goals in the wearers life. The 7.5′ necklace is completed at the top with gold metal clasp and filigree beads.

“Gate, Brownstone, Harlem Details,” Photography, 2005

This amazing Gate, Brownstone photograph is a one-of-a-kind large print documenting the disappearing historical details of Harlem architecture by visual artist and founder Harlem World Magazine, founder Danny Tisdale. The Gate, Brownstone of these beautiful iron gates from the mid-1800’s was taken on 123rd Street (between 5th Avenue and Lenox Avenue). The print measures 11 inches x 8.5 inches.
