The Great Randall’s Island Treasure Hunt
June 10 @ 10:00 am – 2:00 pm
Join us as we unlock Island secrets at The Great Randall’s Island Treasure Hunt! This event, offered in partnership with Hudson Valley Orienteering, includes two orienteering courses – one for adults and one for children. Learn how to use a map and compass (provided) while exploring the Park; arts and crafts as well as light refreshments provided. Treasure for all who participate!

World Science Festival Fish Count
June 3 @ 11:00 am – 2:00 pm
Join our experienced RIPA staff for the World Science Festival’s Great Fish Count! Educators and biologists will be on hand as participants strap on waders and go out into the Harlem River to cast nets in search of the underwater life right here in NYC. We will be learning about the diversity of life in the river and what is needed to survive and thrive in the waters that surround the Island! This is a free event for all ages.
Location: 1/4 mile north of the 103rd Street Footbridge
Yoga in the Park
June 6 @ 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm (Every Tuesday – Free)
Spend some time with us stretching, breathing, and taking full advantage of the evening at a Randall’s Island yoga class. Bring your yoga mat and follow certified instructors from Sweet Water Dance and Yoga to tone your muscles and find your inner peace.
Dance Boot Camp in the Park
June 7 @ 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm
Dance boot camp is the perfect way to have fun while getting an amazing workout! These classes combine uplifting music and dancing with beautiful views and fresh air. Follow certified instructors from Sweet Water Dance & Yoga for a fun, high-energy workout along the Park’s shoreline.
Outdoor Movie Night – Despicable Me (PG)
