VH1’s “This is Hot 97” Premiere Party

hot 97 reality in nycThose folks at 135th Street Agency is at it again, they posted this behind-the-scenes celebration on Monday night, VH1 and Hot 97 along with Monami Entertainment, Eastern TV and Myx Fusions Moscato, premiered the first two episodes of the upcoming unscripted comedy series “This is Hot 97” at Gotham Comedy Club in New York City. hot 97 reality in nyc1Cast members in attendance at the “Myx & Mingle” event included Angie Martinez, Funkmaster Flex, Ebro Darden, Miss Info, Peter Rosenberg, Cipha Sounds, and Laura Stylez. The evening kicked off with Cipha Sounds taking the stage to give the 350+ crowd a warm comedic welcome. He then brought comedian Brooklyn Mike onstage for a hilarious stand-up routine followed by introductory remarks from executive producer and Myx Fusions Moscato CMO Mona Scott-Young. After the viewing, attendees posed their questions to the cast and got their take on the show, which is, in the words of Ebro, “nothing like a reality show.”

hot 97 reality in nyc2He maintained that the cast is like family and the show gives viewers an authentic behind-the-scenes look at their funny and lovingly dysfunctional family dynamic.

hot 97 reality in nyc4Additional attendees included Mack Wilds, Jennifer Williams (“Basketball Wives”), Chef Roble and Tahiry Jose (“Love & Hip Hop NY”). Music was provided by Hot 97’s own DJ Spynfo.
