By Lil Nickelson Executive Chef/Owner Marcus Samuelsson of Red Rooster Harlem and Streetbird Rotisserie (pictured above with his wife model Maya Haile) came up with the idea for a festival to celebrate and showcase the diversity of Harlem’s food, culture and spirit.
Just like last year, there will be an outdoor stage with a large variety of multi-cultural entertainment, over 50 independent, local vendors and exhibitors on the street, and other activities going on throughout the day for all age groups.
The annual Ethnic Festival attracts thousands of area residents and visitors to East Harlem each year where a unique meeting of cultures come together through music, dance, arts and crafts, ethnic cuisine, and educational activities for all ages.
