By Rudy CollinsThe world famous Apollo Theater kicked off it 80th anniversary and photographer Rudy Collins from Harlem World Magazine was on the case for the first Amateur Night of 2014.
There was a pre-Amateur Night behind-scenes event with Dick Parsons, Chairman of the Board of directors at the Apollo Theater, and other Apollo Theater executives. 
Chuck poses with Mr. Apollo, Billy Mitchell, who was inducted into the Apollo walk of fame, and the 1st amateur night of 2014 was under way with Doug E Fresh hosting. 
The Gala celebration will be June 10th with Smokey Robinson officiating.
