A New Indian Eatery Opens In West Harlem

On Thursday, June 1st, 2017, Mumbai Masala Indian Grill, a new Indian restaurant opened on the West side of Harlem, New York.It the newest offering from Salim Rahman, who owned Tajmahal, Bay Leaf, and currently is the co-owner of Tikka Indian Grill in Williamsburg and Kew Gardens, and Amin Ruhel, who owned Tripti and Dipali.

This new eatery is sure to be a welcome addition to area and sure to be a hit with Sugar Hill and Hamilton Heights residents as well as the students at City College. With City College right there and buildings going up like crazy, it looks to be kind of up and coming scene with affordable and diverse dining. Fatema Khatum, who is originally from Bangladesh, is the chef in charge and will be running the kitchen.
