National Weather Service: Update Flood Advisory From Harlem To Hollis

The National Weather Service has issued the following:

What

  • Flood Advisory

Where

  • From Harlem to Hollis

When

  • Until 10:30 PM on 8/21

Hazards

  • 1-2 inches of rain are expected. Heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other drainage areas and low-lying spots.

Preparedness Actions

  • Do not drive your vehicle or walk into areas where water covers the roadway as the water depth may be too great to allow you to cross safely.
