A straphanger was robbed of his $9,000 Rolex watch while riding the No. 1 train from Harlem to Chelsea, police said.
The 45-year-old victim got into a packed subway car at West 125th Street on Monday, May 12th at about 3:45 p.m. and said he felt people jostling and shoving him during the ride, sources added.
He got off the train at 23rd Street and realized his watch was missing while walking up the stairs at the station (source).
