Julie Menin And Isaac Fitzgerald At AOL Build

In partnership with Buzzfeed, the New York City’s Mayor’s office created the new initiative, “One Book, One New York.” It allows New Yorkers of all five boroughs to vote on one of five books to read for the month. The effort is an attempt to give a boost to small bookstores throughout the city and create a sense of community among the readers of the city. Julie Menin, Commissioner of the Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment, and Isaac Fitzgerald, Buzzfeed Books Editor, come to speak on the initiative.
