It’s Time To Submit Your Participatory Budgeting Ideas From Harlem To Hollis

October 18, 2018

Participatory Budgeting (PB) is your opportunity to decide how to spend $1 million to improve our neighborhood.

Helen Rosenthal is soliciting ideas for the FY 2019-20 project competition until October 29th — don’t miss your chance to add your project idea to next spring’s ballot!

In order to qualify for the ballot, PB projects must be physical improvements or equipment (not staff or programming); and be located in local parks, schools, NYCHA developments, streets, sidewalks, and other publicly-owned spaces and buildings.

To learn more about PB, and submit your project ideas, visit my website. If you have any difficulty submitting ideas, you can also visit the City Council’s Online Idea Map.

Please don’t hesitate to contact Kate or Marisa in Helen Rosenthal’s District Office with any questions. You can reach them at (212) 873-0282, or by email at district6pb@gmail.com.
