Tomorrow, Saturday, June 11, the New York City Health Department, in partnership with New York Academy of Medicine (NYAM) and Mount Sinai Hospital, will award $225,000 to 9 community-based organizations.
The awards is for community activation projects in East Harlem at the East Harlem Healthy Neighborhoods Initiative Health in Action Summit. Sixteen organizations will proposed their projects before a community panel.
