Join students, professors, and staff at Harlem’s City College for Decarbonizing CCNY: How We Can Lead the Way! 

They will discuss some of the means by which CCNY can work towards decarbonization of the school’s campus and what the community can do to help. 

  • Introduction: Yael Amron, M.S. Candidate, Sustainability in the Urban Environment
  • CCNY Waste Management Opportunities: Marco J. Castaldi, Professor of Chemical Engineering, Director, Earth Engineering Center
  • CCNY Grid Decarbonization and Modernization Initiative: Ahmed Mohamed, Associate Professor of Electrical Engineering
  • Implementing Sustainability Goals at a University: Jessica Prata, Assistant Vice President, Office of Sustainability, Columbia University in Harlem
