Woodley was a close friend of Big L’s brother, Leroy “Big Lee” Phinazee, and is alleged to have enacted revenge on Big L following a dispute with his family.

Woodley died at Harlem Hospital in June 2016 after being shot in the head at nearby 106 W. 139th St.
