Strategies for Wealth, a leading financial advisory and planning firm of The Guardian Insurance Company of America, worked with New York Cares and sent 80 members today, June 13, 2018, to revitalize the Hansborough Recreation Center in Harlem.
Members from the company from offices in Manhattan, Rye Brook, and Jericho, New York as well as Providence, Rhode Island came together to prepare the space for activities designed for children who participate in programs at the center.
The team prepared murals that will eventually be painted by children, built garden beds and birdhouses on the roof for kids to enjoy summer gardening, and put together added and replacement furniture.
