Harlem’s Cam’Ron London No Show Gets Crazy

June 5, 2014

camron2Harlem man Dipset’s Cam’ron has a bunch of overseas fans angry at him this week after reportedly turning into a no-show for a London concert.

Details and footage of the incident have emerged online Wednesday (June 4).

What was supposed to be an epic night ended in chaos as Cam’ron never made it to the The Forum in Kentish Town’s stage. Killa was seen in the building and flicked it up with British hip-hop heavyweight Tim Westwood but the show was officially cancelled around 10:20 London time. A pissed off crowd began to bum rush the stage once the show was called and the night ended in chaos. Rumors are beginning to circulate that Cam dipped from the venue because So Solid Crew’s Megaman was looking to cash in on an outstanding debt that Cam owed him. (XXL Mag)

The Dipset leader appeared in a Reebok campaign a few days ago.

Cam’ron hits the West 4th Street Courts in NYC to ball in the Reebok Blacktop Retaliate. Built to meet the demands of athletes without compromising style, the Blacktop Retaliate takes inspiration from the incredibly popular Reebok Blacktop collection originally introduced in the 90s. Reebok Blacktop: on-court technology, off-court style. The Blacktop Retaliate will hit shelves at key retailers Jimmy Jazz, City Gear, Expressions, Shoe City and Reebok.com for $125 on June 1st. Last month, Cam released his new “Dipsh*ts music video.

Cam’ron reunites with his fellow Diplomat Juelz Santana in the video for “Dipsh*ts,” his collaboration with A-Trak. The Harlem crew takes it back to hip-hop’s heyday in the Ricky Saiz-directed clip (“‘Yonce”), which features a mink-clad Cam and cameos from Chromeo and Roc-A-Fella co-founder (and Harlem man) Damon Dash aka “Champagne Dame.” The explosive summer anthem, produced by Just Blaze, A-Trak, and Oliver, will appear on Cam’ron and A-Trak’s upcoming EP Federal Reserve. Recently, Killa revealed fans could look forward to him releasing a new project with fellow Harlem, New York native Smoke DZA.

“I got the ‘First of the Month’ project coming out probably next month,” Cam tells Info. “Dame put together the A-Trak collaboration which is called ‘Federal Reserve.’ me and Smoke DZA got a project going on. It’s like five different projects, basically what we’re doing now is just trying to figure out the timing for everything. It’s probably 150 new songs done.” (Miss Info TV)
